This is a tutorial on where to create and how to use Provisioning (Prov) file free online. Prov files are very useful for s40 phone users. Symbian users can create any IP address and port to use as internet settings but this is not easy at times for Java s40 users because they need to get the settings set as Prov file to their phones before they can set it as internet default.

» Go to access point and select it as preferred access point. Then select the option ” activate for all applications”

How To Create Prov Files Online:
To create a .prov file online for your phone, go to any of the following website to where you can create it at:
» www.xmlprov.com
» www.myprov.co.cc
Once you get to the website, chose the network you want to create a .prov for and fill in the required information, save and download it to your computer or your phone and send to a China phone.
The following are the sets of information you need to provide:
» Working IP Address
» Access Point (APN)
» Port, and
any other information required on whichever website you are creating your .prov file from.
How To Create Prov Files Offline:
You can also create .prov files offline on your computer. All you need to do is to download this software, install and run it on your computer. Follow the steps by filling in the required information and create your .prov file. Use the same procedure as above to send it to your phone and save it as settings.
