These tools will help you get strong backlinks from blogs using CommentLuv comment plugin. This tutorial will also show you how to find out the PageRank of a blog and also if your comments are dofollow. Shown right there on your browser’s toolbar. This way you can detect blogs that use CommentLuv to create the impression that you are getting a doffolow link by making a comment on their blog whereas you only get a link.
I’ve found from my research that many blogs make your CommentLuv link nofollow.Cynamix Blog has CommentLuv active. You get a link which is nofollow if are just make comments without registering first. Of course, you get a link that people can follow to your site. If you register before you comment, you not only get a link can follow but also get a dofollow backling that boost your blog popularity and consequently your PageRank.
I must say at this point that I understand the fact that not everyone make comments on blog to get backlinks but if that is your own aim, this tutorial is for you!
HERE ARE THE TOOLS YOU NEED TO GET STARTED:
- Download and install the Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
- Download and install the Quirk SearchStatus Firefox Add on
- Download and install the SEO Quake plugin for Firefox
Restart Firefox to successfully install the add-ons. They will not become active until you restart your browser.
Now you can uncover some of your old content in your blog and choose the keywords that you have already targeted and ranked for.
You can also create new content and use tools like Market Samurai. With this tool, you will be sure you’re targeting the right keywords.
The next thing to do is to Find Blogs That Use CommentLuv and also Use Your Target Keywords
If you have already installed the add-ons I recommended above, you shuould just make a search on your firefos browser using the following search string to search for blogs that use CommentLuv and contain your keywords in their page/post title.
intitle:make money online “commentluv”
You can now see in your search result that the search string that you used has returned Blogs that has the CommentLuv system anabled and which also have the keywords “Make Money Online” within their page or post titles. Of course, This is just an example. Choose your own search string with your keywords.
Now these are really attractive blogs to get backlinks from since they’re already highly relevant. Any anchor text that you can achieve from these blogs will pass authority to your post.
The next step to me is the most important. Even though you will be creating your links on Blogs with relevant keywords, you still have to find out if they are DoFollow or NoFollow.
Confirm DoFollow or NoFollow Status NOW!!!
In the bottom right hand corner of your Firefox browser, you should see a symbol which I’ve displayed in the image below. In some other versions of Firefox, it displayed at the right top corner. Just look around your browser to see where it is being displayed. Some will just ask you if to strike out Nofollow links instead of highlighting it.
Now click the link of the site you want to visit from the Google search result.
Check to see if the blog post title within the CommentLuv link is cancelled out with a stroke. Check If it is, this indicates that it is a Nofollow link. Your aim here is to find a link which does not have any highlighting or stroke on it. See the image as an example below.
The next step is to look for Posts Within a Site With High Page Rank
Use the following search string to search for indexed content (pages/posts) and other taxonomies (categories/tags) within the “dofollow” site that you’ve discovered.
site:cynamix.net
Click on the little down arrow in the Google part of the Quake toolbar. This will sort the results into pagerank order with the page with the highest pagerank at the top.
At this point, you’re looking for the highest ranking page that is not the home page to comment on. Most blogs will not allow comments on the home page.
The last step is to go to that page and leave a comment. At this point you can be sure that your link will be dofollo from a relevant site with high PR.
It is worth remembering that owners of blogs with high traffic and a good Pagerank are likely to be more careful about the comments that they approve since they know that they’re more likely to receive spammy comments. Therefore, go through the article, read it very well and make meaningful comment. It might be another alternative to the content of an article or a specific information that is missing. You may also answer someone that asked a question. This way, you can be sure that your comment will be approved.
NOTE: I am not promoting comment spamming. I only feel like it’s good to look for a win win situation where you can share wisdom, ask insightful questions, engage the blog owner’s readership and receive a quality backlink to your site in return.
